Wow-ask a question like this and you really pull out all the over confident OSU fans. As my husband likes to say-You can't ever look past any game or team in the big ten. With classic rivalries such as OSU/Michigan, you can look at stats and rankings but it truly means nothing when these two teams play. While OSU has had a great offense this year, their offense was crushed last weekend when Illinois found the holes in their line. And that was a team that doesn't have the #2, questionably the best defense in the country. If the wolverines can contain Troy Smith and Ted Ginn's run game, which I think they can, Michigan will win. Neither team will play next weekend like they did last weekend and it always proves to be a great game.

It's very interesting to read all of the "experts" opinions of this game and its outcome.
If any of you knew anything about Michigan or Ohio State, you would know that this is the ultimate "throw out the records, strap it up and play it out" game.
Case in point: 1969 Ohio State undefeated ranked #1, defending national champs, who at the time, the experts called the best team in the HISTORY of college football, go into Ann Arbor heavily favored, looking to whip-up on the #12 ranked Wolverines and win their 2nd consecutive title, leave town on the wrong/right end of a 24-12 defeat......
.....1972 UM#3, OSU #9...OSU 11-14;1981 UM #7 OSU unranked....OSU 14-9; 1993 UM unranked OSU #5...UM 28-0; 1995 and 1996 OSU #2 lost to UM (#18-21).
This rivalry has been called by many, not just fans of either team, as the "Greatest Rivalry In All of Sport".
It should prove to be one of the all time greatest games in the history of sport.
Disclaimer: if one or the other, or both teams play like they did on Nov. 4, then please disregard my last comment.
Thanks, and may the best team win, and then, may the best team win the title, when they play again in the BCS National Title Game, as they should.
Sorry, Rutgers, Auburn, Florida, USC, ND, Texas.............no, I'm not really sorry!!
GO BLUE !!!!!!

I hope so! I live by that motto too --- Oh how I hate Ohio State! I live in Minnesota. We're the doormats of the Big Ten and have A LOT of trouble with both teams but OSU is the most hated.

Windowman, u might as well give up on rutgers making the bcs title game. When its do or die voting time, nobody likes the big east. and whoever is voting against buckeye fans, u can blow me . . . hard . . . twice . . . without a wildebeast watching . . . man . . . i hate those things. anyway, the wolverines will not be able to hold troy smith to under 250 total yards and the buckeyes will dominate the entire game except the first quarter. The final score will be Ohio State 31- Michigan 14. Ay-Yuh!

yes they will b/c of ohio state's defense. espn predicted that the buckeyes would lose a game this season b/c of their weakened defense. this is the game. troy smith cannot carry this team alone, and michigan will just be too much for the buckeyes

I wouldn't worry about Troy Smith this year.
Mich defense is too fast and good this year and they will contain him.
It's revenge time and it'll be sweeeeet.

the only way OSU won't win is if they beat themselves with turnovers.
