Even the most secure guy in the world does not want to hear that his girlfriend is a lesbian, but that should never keep you from being honest with him. He deserves to know what you are. Be fair and trust yourself, you have already established a close relationship with him, you are the best judge of the time, place and best approach for this kind of a conversation. There's a chance he already has a clue depending on how close your relationship is and how long you've been dating. Just go for it when you think you're ready. Goodluck.
