Recently I got into a testy situation. I was in a long distance realtionship, and i had a crush on someone nearby. I ended up dumping my boyfriend, and later on hanging out with this new guy. My friends here were really good friends with my ex...and now they won't talk to me practically. I want to know what I can do to make them accept me again. I miss hanging out with them. What should I do?

If they were your friends it wouldn't have mattered who you were dating as long as you were happy. I wouldn't stress about trying to earn them back because you haven't done anything wrong. If they want to be petty because you broke up with your ex to date someone closer to you then let your friends date your ex and you just concentrate on being happy with your new man. Friends come and go they'll see the light eventually but until then go have some fun with your new man.

they shouldn't've picked sides when u broke up w/ this guy
they chose him...only becuz u broke up w/ him & started talking to another guy
it's almost like they're in ur business
they should realize that u didn't wanna be w/ this guy anymore & get on w/ it
if they're real friends,they'd want u to be happy & throwing a fit becuz u no longer wanna be w/ him,is childish & selfish
selfish becuz,they wanted u to stay w/ this guy just to make him happy,but they didn't even think about how u felt
there's always a reason for someone breaking up with another person
they didn't even think of why u may've broken up w/ him
they're childish
i'd ignore them & get on w/ it
when they decide to grow up,that'd be when i tried to talk to them,but for now,they're just being stupid

You can talk to them and explain the situation, how you feel, etc. Be open with them.
Probably they will understand.

sounds more like they were friends of his. real friends don't dump friends. quite possible they might not be comfortable with the new guy, too

if they wont talk to you then talk to them. but if they wont talk to you because you dumped someone to go wit someone else then they arent really good friends.
