Anne, you mean he didn't get caught! You don't know for sure if he ever has, Him and ole Rice are pretty good buddies!
Bush has probably never told the truth about anything! Maybe we should post what he said that weren't lies rather than those that were! I have a lot of them on tape, but Neocons don't even believe him when he says it! He said there was no WMD's in Iraq, the neocons basically called him a liar and said that their were! I have him on tape saying Iraq had nothing to do with terrorist or 9/11 and that we attacked Iraq to "Give them Hope Ken!" We could sure shorten up some of the blogs!
Oh yes, You-tube removed the video of him talking to a reporter while some illegals jumped the fence behind him!

There's a big difference between actually knowing something will not happen and saying it will and saying something will happen when you are not sure that it will. You are referring to things that he spoke of that, at the time, he did not know would happen and later turned out to be untrue. What you are referring to is morale boosting and hope, not a lie. A lie would be, for instance, insisting to a special prosecutor that he "did not have sex with that woman" when he knew right well that he had.
Bush didn't lie when we went into Iraq after WMDs that he was told by people who know that they were there. Many prominent Democrats in Congress also saw the information that Bush had and believed it to be true as well. You've seen it. Additionally, I don't remember GWB saying, optimistically that "everything is fine" and that "the US will win and still crush all terrorists without too much trouble." If I could have a link, I might be able to see that for myself. Further, given the ease with which we took Iraq all the way to Baghdad, which his father would have done had he ignored the UN, why would it be so hard to believe that we would win?

once you're "truth" checking did you also examine what the likely impact elevating taxes or eliminating tax cuts for agencies may have on those who receive the meant tax reduce? Who contained in the decrease income bracket can locate the money for $5 bread or larger expenditures of residing because the agencies will bypass the further taxes on to the consumer? With severe gas expenditures the most suitable ingredient we favor to do is develop expenditures because of larger taxes on agencies. no matter if you pay a lot less income tax, you will pay a lot extra someplace else, like nutrients and garments. BTW did you also recognize he can replace not something without the approval from congress?

When did Republicans ever say that Bush has never lied? It just gets annoying how people act like a US president has never lied before and when Bush does then the sky is falling. Everyone lies even the Democrats beloved Clinton and Kerry.

When they say he didn't lie they mean he didn't lie to the extent Clinton committed perjury. Which would be true. Did he pass-on miss information - Yes. Was he overly optimistic - again Yes. Are you going to hold ALL politicians to the same standards you are holding Bush to - probably not. Are you holding yourself to the same standards - again probably not.
Today the press & politicians call it spin doctoring. I'm fairly confident that even at the level of perjury that Clinton did he felt he was doing nothing more than spin doctoring. I wish I could do that on my Taxes!

Ummmm....I thought it was common knowledge that GW has a perpetual issue with not being able to tell the truth.
But since he didn't screw anyone in the oval office I don't think it matters. Adultery is apparently a bigger crime than murdering 3000 people.

Now you know why Republicans also call Rush the voice of truth and FOX news "fair and balanced". They live in a make believe world. They also have no firm grasp on real life.

we all want to believe in something.
toothfairy, santa claus, easter bunny... ring any bells?
just because we're adults doesn't mean that we still believe in what isn't real.
but while believing in the unreal when we are children is fine- as an adult, it is dangerous and irresponsible.

Same reason liberals think that their politicians never lie. People should always ask questions and look for the answers before they come to a conclusion. You'd be surprised what you can find.
