it doesn't the amount of melanin you have affects the color of your skin not your intelligence.

I was always quite sure it didn't, unless you are a white person, which might suggest a lack of melanin negatively impacts a person's ability to spell?

My apologies if "inteligance" is just one of those new-fangled slang terms with which I am unfamiliar!

Yes, it has everything to do in how the body process information, the more melanin you have the more civilizes you are... if the cells aren't damage early in life..

melanin determines the color of your skin... it has nothing to do with intelligence. this is why albinos can be just as smart as people with regularly producing melanin

if u were so, ahem.."smart" u'd probably be a better speller...
but to answer your question, skin color has nothing to do with intelligence!
just because you are lighter or darker doesn't make u more smart...
