Depends on your situation and where you might be going.
Also, what look are you going for?
Complete crossdress in drag?

Hard to answer this one, but I am going to guess you are a guy dressing as a woman.
I say, if you want to go for the total effect:
Bra (With breast enhancers or Breast Forms), Panties, Waist Sincher, Tights (shave your legs), 3 in heels, dress or skirt and blouse, full makeup (close shave), wig, painted nails and jewelry.

Clothes you can get from a Department Store, Thrift Store, or a Lingerie Store like Fredericks of Hollywood. As sizes might be an issue, I would suggest not using an online retailer and just go somewhere and buy it. If anyone asks, tell them it is for a Girlfriend or tell them it was a bet.

Good Luck, and Have fun!
Post some pics of what you choose!

Are you a girl or a boy?
I went to a party in drag last month, I'm a girl.
I bought some men's trousers and a shirt from a second hand shop(cost $7) and drew a beard on my face with brown eyebrow pencil. My sister in-law said I looked so much like my brother it was doing her head in, hehehe.
If you're a guy I would suggest a dress and a full face of make-up(make sure you shave right before so your face is smooth, the make-up will go on easier and look better). If you can find a wig somewhere then that would be cool but not necessary. I wouldn't go in high heels unless you've worn them before, they're tricky if you don't have practice so I would suggest a comfortable pair of pumps. And don't forget some bling.
I hope I've been helpful, good luck and have fun.

Use your imagination. I would stay away from heels though if you are a first timer. Gotta ease into those babies. Have fun!
