Can I get a pregnancy test without having a doctors order? I am willing to pay for it but I was told that I needed a form from my doctor. How should I do this?

Have you already tested positive with a home pregnancy test? They're as accurate as blood tests these days. It would be best however that if you do find out that you're pg to go see a dr. I know this is preachy but it's best to have good prenatal care from the very begining for both you and the baby. If you don't have a doctor or can't afford one you can go to your local health clinic. I think the cost of their services is based on your income level.

If you need to take a pregnancy test and its a urine test I do not think you need a doctor script, plus it would be cheaper to go to the drug store and buy one, but if your talking about a blood test then you need to contact a doctors office and let them know you what to come in for a blood test to find out it your pregnant and ask them how much it is. Good luck

You can either get a home pregnancy test from the pharmacy or just make an appointment with your doctor. He or she will take your blood and get back to you within a day or two with the results. While home pregnancy tests are 99.9% accurate, a blood test is fool-proof. Good luck.

To get a blood test you need a doctors orders but any urine test is fine for you to buy anytime you want from any store.
Head on out to the drug store and I hope you get the answer you want :)))))))

Most doctors will order a pregnancy test if you just call and ask. Call your family doctor. Planned parenthood may also do pregnancy tests.

Ummm....go to the store and find the feminine aisle. Buy an EPT boxed pregnancy test. If you go to the pharmacy and ask they can help you pick one out.

Go to the store and buy one. You can get them without a Dr. order. There not prescribed.

You can go to like an emergent care or something w/out a doctors order. Tell them you feel sick and stuff... your insurance should cover.
