The Haunting. It's a great movie and not VERY scary. Just a little. Believe me, out of all the scary movies out there, that's the one that won't keep them from sleeping at night, and it makes them jump here and there and gives them a good laugh. Look it up, it really is a good one. :-)

I think that all but one of the movies listed above are WAY to scary for kids 11-14. If I remember right, The Haunting wasn't too bad like the one person said. Instead of getting a scary movie, why don't you get a silly movie? Or I guess you could always get Scary Movie, but that is a little sexual at times, so the 14 year old might be able to handle it, but otherwise....I think your best bet is something like The Lord of the Rings, King Kong (original or remake), and Mighty Joe Young.

Cry Wolf was pretty good and not really bad. An American Haunting is more supernatural, but not TOO scary. I would rather my kids watch something that's not GORY.
