How bombing could be polite and gentle, political wizard?

Because Al-Qeida is not worth a response. Those with brains know how cowardly they are to attack innocent people. If they want to be brave then fight like men and try and take out a large military force instead of sneaking around and using suicide bombers. One thing most terrorist have in common is fear of taking on those who are strong enough to knock them off. They prefer to attack defenseless people and brag about how strong they are.

Al Qeida's inhumane remarks are meant to frighten the American people who will listen to them and believe they have the capabilities to carry out their threats. It would be futile for the American govt to engage in discourse with them, because they are savages and do not care if they die. When they come out with a statement like they did, then we should bomb every known place that they hide in. Collateral damage must be expected when you deal with a bunch of savages.

Because it rarely helps to get in a shouting match with idiots.

All evidence in political campaigns to the contrary.

I thought the general gist of it was like, "we're going to murder all those goddamn terrorist scum."
