take any biology and science related courses your high school offers. You will have to take a lot of chemisty and physics in college as well, so you may as well get good at it. It depends on exactly what you want to do to figure out how much of an education you will need. If you want to be a zookeeper, you need a Bachelor of Science, if you want to teach, you need to get credentials and if you want to do research you will need a Masters or Phd. If you want to work as a zoologist/biologist with wildlife you can major in biology, zoology or wildlife studies. I have a degree in zoology but work as a wildlife biologist. Check out Texa A and M University, they seem to have a really good science department. They also have a job board with biology/zoology jobs, internships etc. Good Luck.

I do not know exactly what you want to do with zoology, but you will probably figure that out during your undergraduate years. The one school that I know of that has a pretty good zoology program is the University of Florida. To be a zoologist in a zoo one will only need a bachelors degree. However, almost all zoologists perform research in areas such as paleobiology and ecology. To do this one needs a Ph.D. There are also a number of people who study zoology as an undergrad and then decide to go to Vet School. There are a number of schools that have good zoology programs just look those up online and ask your high school counselor about colleges.

I had 2 children cross by way of institution on Zoology. Both labored in Zoos for no less than a even as. One married a vet medical professional and she or he is a vet assistant. She is operating for her masters and wish to head all of the solution to a medical professional measure. Zoology covers plenty of discipline and also you have got to wish to grasp approximately animals everywhere the sector and likewise be trained Biology. Biology is probably the area that men and women have extra predicament with due to the fact that of the ought to be trained clinical-names and main points approximately crops and animals that on the whole you could no longer be taken with studying. Are the themes hard? It isn't the simplest to be trained, however a long way from a scientific medical professional, chemist, or a few fields of engineering. Easier topics could be in trade and the liberal arts. You could get someplace in trade with difficult paintings and well grades, you're going to no longer get too a long way with liberal arts in line with say. So, relying upon your curiosity and reminiscence capacity Zoology can also be hard or handy. In assessment with different topics, it's approximately the center in challenge. Unless you cross directly to better levels or marry a vet medical professional, you're not going to make so much cash, however you're going to love running with animals on the nearby Zoos, vet assistant, and so forth.

Make science and math your personal friends. Biology, genetics, physics, chemistry, calculus...anything along those lines will help you prepare. Also, make sure you take a foreign language.

I'm in my freshman year of college right now working on a B.S. in zoology.

Sorry buddy, but this ones for "mg". He/she thinks that they're intelligent. But apparently doesn't know what the meaning of "theory" is. And if you can't understand the big words, number 6 and 7 are pretty easy to understand. Even for an 8th grade education.
