Grand Ams are sports cars and as such not equipped for towing .you might be able to haul a small trailer if you put on one of those bumper pull packages,, but your manual should tell you of any weight limits,, if you can afford it,, rent a u-haul truck and tow your car with it!!!!

Yes.But make sure you go to a u-haul location and have them size a trailer to your vehicle capacity.Plus have them mount the trailer for you.Towing a oversized trailer can tax your vehicles drivetrain causing excess wear and premature failure and in the case of a panic stop the extra weight could overloads your vehicles brakes and contribute to a accident.

Is the link to a pdf file of all 1999 vehicles and their associated tow ratings. U-haul can easily give you the weight of their trailer as is stamped on it and also you can figure the weight of what you are going to put in it, etc.

if your car has a tow package it could. but if it has any transmission problems i would not risk it. you could tear up your motor and transmission.
