1\3 of L.A. would burn. and as for the answers like the grammy's etc... the white awards are the tony's.(though not movies) . double standards exist everywhere in this topic and the mere act of stating this fact gets a certain card dealt in your pile.
with award shows they should go one way or the other.either reduce number of awards shows to under 1500 a year or really go over the top(think: best use of mascara on an asian in a romantic comedy). seriously, how does anybody find time to do anything to get awarded for when there's some ceremony going on every other week?
you need ONE for movies,ONE for tv,ONE for music that's all .

Okay if we had just white award someone would get hurt the black award started as a when rap wasn't mainstream and when black adults wanted to show how these rappers can get along and any idiots can tell u those idiots who said the GRAMMY'S and OSCARS are for white people they missed Chris rock and Queen Latifiah hosting and does anybody remember the JAMIE FOX just WON damn why do we have to separate race that's why the world has so many problems.

Knowing how the general public is, someone would call it "racist." I'm not racist myself, but I'm pretty sure that that's what would happen. I mean, in reality, if a black person beats up a white person, nothing really happens except maybe the black person gets in trouble, but if that white person was to retaliate & beat the black person up, not only would the whitep erson probably get in trouble, but he'd probably get killed because everyone else would think he's a racist.

Yeah, we have Hispanic award shows too. I'm sure if we did an all-white awards show, someone would get offended.

sure there would be criticism but i dont see a "all white" or all any type of show happening like oscars or grammy scale.
