Ok, first of all, you need to determine whether or not the smell is normal: that is, has it always been this way or has changed recently?

If it's changed, and has become stronger and/or offensive, you should check with a doctor as it may indicate an infection.

If it's the same odor you've had since you can remember....then you need to stop listening to "locker room talk," and these RIDICULOUS (that's right, guys; completely unfounded) "fish" analogies, and realize: everyone has a personal smell. If you're that concerned about yours, cutting some of the meat and dairy out of your diet and getting plenty of fruit and water intake can lessen it. This, too, supposedly improves the taste ;)

Good luck, hun.

If it is a fishy odor then you have a bacterial infection that can only be treated by a doctor's prescription. They happen sometimes and not because you're dirty. Most yeast infections do not have a strong scent; Symptoms of those are itching and discharge. It could just be normal and if you're concerned about it, use baby wipes when you go to the restroom. Good Luck!

You probably have a bacterial infection. Does it smell fishy? There is an antibiotic that you need to take. A lot of women get this when the PH balance of the vagina is "off". It is normal. Call your local Planned Parenthood or go to your OB/Gyn for a pelvic exam.

If regular bathing or a shower doesn't help, then go to a doctor or clinic right away and get checked out for an infection.

If you keep clean, there should be no odor. Good luck with that.

If the scent is strong and fishy, see a doctor. If your vagina has the smell of a vagina, get over it. That's how it's supposed to smell!
