The US postal service is almost always the cheapest. They are however the slowest, and probably the most likely to lose your package. The US Postal Service also has different shipping methods, depending on what you're shipping. If it's anything of value, I strongly suggest using the insurance. Next cheapest would be UPS, then FedEx. You get what you pay for, to an extent. UPS has a pretty good track record, and FedEx slightly better.

My experience says post office. UPS was once great, but very expensive now.

I have found that the Post Office is the cheapest way to go, however I trust UPS more. ;)

well the post office is your best bet.you spend less than outsourcing to fx.enough to get delivery confirmation for 60 cents from po & still b up.
