omg.. why do people always assume when someone is pregnant on here, they are like 12? So you all know I'm 20 and have been married for a while now.

This is a fantastic way to immortalize the moment you announce to your loved ones that you are going to have a baby. During your family or friends gathering, have everyone come together for a group picture. Before you take the photo, instead of yelling, "Everyone say 'Cheese'," yell out, "Everyone say 'Anna's (insert your name) Pregnant'!" Take the snapshot at that moment to capture everyone excited expression.
That picture will bring memories to come even after your baby is grown up. It is a sweet way that u can share forever and a cute one at that. The picture will be so funny with everyones blank look..Good luck!

I went shopping with my mom and it was very busy so there were no parking spaces. We drove around and I spotted one of the Stork Parking spaces for expecting moms and new moms. I said why don't we park over there in the stork parking? She just looked at me and then said that they wouldn't know whether we were pregnant or not and then I said well I am pregnant so they couldn't say anything. It's just kind of caught her off guard but she laughed about it after she found out.

With my mother in law, we gave her a pregnancy test for her birthday. We put it in this huge box and she thought she was getting something huge. Well she was just in a different way than expected.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll think of something cute to use.

I helped a friend tell her parents at xmas and this is what we did for her mom....
We got a beautiful card that had a lovely sentiment from a child to a grandparent, and left it blank, we then got another one to be from her older child, and had the lil girl sign it. When she presented the card to her mom, she looked surprized, and told her granddaughter that she forgot to sign her name. The lil girl smiled and said, "no I didn't, that card is from the new baby in mommas belly and doesn't know their name yet." if his is your irst, you could improvise, and give her the card signed with the name you picked, or just sign it your unborn grandchild.
For her dad, who was in the hospital at the time, we had a nurse come in and check his pulse, and when he asked what was going on, the lil girl said..."well, grampa, we want to make sure that you don't pass out, or hurt your heart again, cause momma says when you find out theres gonna be a baby you might." Not exactly what we had planned for that one, but it was funny! He is quite the joker and we had planned on giving him a gift card to a store with only $1 on it and telling him he could add money for the new baby after he was released...which he ended up doing anyway.....I wish you cauld have seen their faces. Best Wishes!

In my family, we have a game night about once a month, and one night we played pictionairy. Everyone new my sister-in-law was pregnant except her parents. So she was drawing a dog that was pregnant as in heavy with puppy. It took her mother about ten minutes to guess what she was drawing and then, about five minutes to realize what it meant. It was loads of fun, and the look on her face when she figured it out was priceless. I wish you the best. Have fun with it.

You could buy them a picture frame that says Grandparents on it and leave the picture window empty except for a slip of paper that says "For grand baby's first picture."

I'm pretty sure some of the card stores carry these but they have beautiful frames that have "grandparents" or "grandmother/father" on it and a touching little verse.

Or, you could get them a personalized photo album to get them ready for when the baby is born.

OMG! Um lets see, how good are you in the kitchen? I cooked baby backribs, baby corn, and "baby" muffins for desert. Then my mom put "two and two" together and asked "are you?" I played inocent and said "Am I what?" she said "pregnant?" I nodded and smiled they jumped up and started to yell at me. Congrats on the baby. Good luck.

Make a list of baby items, hand the list to them and ask, "Do you know where I can buy these items? I need to stock up!"

Give them a card that says happy thanksgiving grandma and grandpa. I did that to my folks at Easter a few years ago. It took my dad awhile to figure it out, but he got it!
