It's a tie liked both Power Rangers in Space and Power Rangers SPD. I liked how Andros had the angst of finding out his sister was the enemy then he had to destroy Zordon. In SPD I loved how Jack and Zee had the "Robin Hood" thing going on how they started out. Plus Jack willingly gave up being a Ranger to help others in a different way. Quit Noble.

The first 5 years when they had continuity between the series'. My favorite ranger is Tommy (as the white ranger). After "In Space", it just became dumb.
