Karen Carpenter is the lead female singer, her brother Richard is the keyboards and back up. Karen died of anorexia. They were big musical artists in the 1970's and early 1980's. Walmart has their Christmas collection out right now and there are a few songs on the CD's that were never put out before now. The name of the song is called "Close to you".
