Try "Amen". Its about £45.
Not sure if its still a "trendy" fragrance, but it smells lovely enough to stop women in their tracks, to make them want to follow the guy!!

The problem that you have with your question is that no fragrance smells the same on two different people.
Perfume is affected by a number of factors, including our immune system, diet, health, metabolic rate and so on.
Your best bet is to try a different sample every time you go shopping. There are three things that you wantto be testing with perfume. The "top note" is the smell when you first apply it. Then smell again 15 minutes later. This is the smell as adapted to your body. Then longevity. You need a friend to help you with this.
As we wear a perfume, we become accustomed to the smell, and so our brain phases it out as not important (This happens with all our senses so an analogy would be someone who lives near a railway track but doesn't hear trains). This is probably why you can smell other peoples perfume but not your own.
If you are saying that you want a perfume so you do not smell the pub, you will be disappointed I'm afraid. If you want other people to be able to smell what a fabulous chap you are, then chances are you already do, but have got used to the smell (this is where a friend (or attractive stranger) comes in.
All the best

I wear Curve. I only spray it three times. And I was at the bottom of a stairwell at work and my coworker came down from the second floor and she said "I knew it was Jessie because of his cologne." I don't know if she was lying or not, but its distinguishable, has a strong but not overwhelming scent, and it smells great. It lasts too, so maybe it will survive your pub visits.

I definitely recommend Aqua di Gio by Georgio Armani and Jean Paul Gaultier. My husband wears them. The smell of each one is incredible. They definitely stand out in a crowd! (Funny thing is that a while before I met my husband someone had worn the Jean Paul Gaultier cologne in a bar. It took me years to figure out what it was. Then, I went to buy a new cologne for my husband. I tried smelling Jean Paul Gaultier, and low and behold did my memories go back to that night at the bar where I smelled that awesome colonge!) I truly recommend both of these. You can buy them in any department store. You can also get a discount on them at www.scentiments.com. Good luck to you.

if you are smoking and drinking in smelly bars then the only fragrance for you is "old spice". It fights all known germs and also smells quite nice. But you have got to shave before you put it on so that you have that nice shiny skin look. lots of irish ppl wear this .

Use Polo Blue. It is so amazing. I think it makes men smell fresh and clean. Not like smoke or beer like at the pub. Tons of women I know go weak at the knees when they smell a man wearing that. Trust me ;)

I have always rather liked the fresh and clean scent of "711." It is citrus and smells great. Of course, it's not for everyone, and it may well not be for you, but compared to smelling like a magazine sample, it might be worth a quick sniff the next time you are out looking about. - Chris. (I like it right after I have shaved. It wakes me right up and people notice it without wishing I would please go away.)

My husband has been wearing CK One by Calvin Klein for years. I love the smell (it's fresh and not overpowering) and it really lasts. When I moved to Scotland to go to university I took one of his shirts that he had worn because it still had that CK one smell and it reminded me of him. (The smell did fade eventually and I resorted to going to Boots and spraying myself with the tester bottle!)
