me personal would play a 3 5 2. with wings backs 2 center mid an attacking mid an d2 stickers. attacking while still very diffensive if wing back do the right amount of work. try some one like deco or makalele in the midfeild.

Well, you should try an attacking team, while still having a few cover at the back. Personally, I practically always use a 3-5-2 formation, where I have 3 centre backs, 1 defensive midfielder, 2 wingers, and 2 attacking midfielders, and of course 2 strikers. I don't care much about that they score a goal against me, coz, I can score another goal. Actually this 3-5-2 formation would be quite effective against a traditional 4-4-2 and even more so against a diamond shaped midfield. I believe that a game is won by the midfielders' control of the ball, so that's why I pack my midfield with a lot of players. A lot of work is done by my defensive midfielder and also the wingers who have to cut back everytime, the others are attacking.

usually another 4-4-2 lol. if the team ur playing against is rele good id choose a more defensive formation, like 5-3-2, if ur team i better play an offensive formation like 4-3-3.

The best tactic to use in Football MAnager is 4-3-1-2. This works for just about every team. IT has worked wonderfully for me in every Football Manager i've played. Good Luck!!

4-4-2 or 5-4-1 because the formations u hav used are narrow whilst the one's I have mentioned utilise the wide players i.e. wingers who can pull apart and make use of the extra space on the pitch

Also play 4-4-2 in Football Manager, and keep it simple. Dont play any players out of their best possible.position. If your team are continually loosing, dont criticize them too much, it will destroy their confidence rating...always try to encourage and compliment them, it will turn results around eventually.
