Business days are normally considered Monday thru friday.
Calendar days are Sunday thru Saturday.

When we use the term "not a business day" in our everyday language - we are generally referring to the days our employer is not open for business.

HOWEVER, with regards to RESPA - the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act - home lending rules - a business day is any day the mail runs. That is due to recissions being able to recind a home loan by mail.

Days they are not normally open for business. Typically it's Saturday and Sunday, sometimes holidays.

Well, ketchup and bowling balls are not business days, but I think they're referring to weekends & holidays. :)
