One of my classmates gave me one, but I don't know the use of it. Could you tell me what a is? A type of cloth? Because I guess not to be discrimnated she only gave one to the girls. It was made out of silk - please !

A hankie is like a tisue but made out of cloth, you use it over and over insted of one use tisues, my grandpa has one.

It's a small square-shaped cloth, usually about 8 X 8 inches, that 's used for bolowing noses, cleaning the facial area, wiping excessively oily spots on the face, or for drying tears. The ones I'm used to are made of cotton.

Handkerchief. Just a cloth that's good to have. CLean glasses, sneeze into, etc.

Its a general kinda personal wiping cloth you keep on your person. A lot of people blow their noses in them!

Handkerchief...a sort of permanent Kleenex tissue, that you use and re-wash.

short for handkerchief, like a tissue for your nose, just reusable...but nobody really uses it for that anymore, don't know what i would do with it myself.
