I know what rape is. But these days a woman will sleep with someone, realize she made a mistake then say he raped her and maybe even make herself believe it is true. Do you think there's a lot of these situations that just have'nt been proved?

I don't think so. Rape is too heavy and time consuming ( months of trial dates) for any woman in her "right" mind to go into, just to get back at some guy.... or make her feel better about having made a "mistake".

Yes it is and I think it's awful that any woman that hasn't been truely raped would cry rape. Makes you wonder how many men are in prison because someone got scared or out of anger blamed someone for something they didn't do. Then it's sad to think of the women that have been and never told......

I believe in some cases women have cried rape to save face. When the morning light brings the guilty feelings, they start blaming the man.
This answer does not apply to the true cases of rape, which are horrific.

yep sad huh but most men will go to jail cause most people will believe the woman unless they have proof that they were raped ie bruises etc i dont believe them! some women are out to make a buck or get revenge for the man doing them wrong!

I have a psycho ex-friend who tried dragging me to some dudes house and begging me to beat him up for raping her and, as I expected, it was all just a mix of that and attention hording tactics.
As an added note, I didnt beat him up. I called her a walking, breathing soap opera and told her she belonged in prison for trying to ruin a guys life just to get people to say, "oh you poor poor thing. Let me treat you like an incapable child so that you don't have to support the weight of your own poor decisions."

ummm no just becuse you regret doing a guy dos'nt equal rape ....rape is him forcing you to do it aginst your own will .....this is what's wrong with some women quick to say rape....think about the lives you ruin becuse you can't except some responcibility ....in seattle a few years ago 2 guys killed a guy when a woman claimed rape and after tha fact she admited that she lied to save her b/f the pain that she cheated she just did'nt plan her b/f would wack the kid

In some cases, I am sure it happens, but I would believe anyone if they say they got raped. Unless they were pathalogical lyers.

nope rape is being forced into having sex with someone against your will. If you willingly have sex with a guy and then later regret it that's called a mistake.
