Pretty cool place, big and lots of people. It's a casual bar and lot of fun. The prices are typical bar prices with loud music and not cheesy.

Typical cowboy tourist type of bar. They got one of those mechanical bulls and other crap on the walls. A lot of pretty tourists hang out there, not too expensive, no celebs or anything. Mostly for the tourists. Prices are average for the westside. It is simply Sunset Blvd. not City walk. City walk is inside Universal Studios in North Hollywood. There may be another Saddle Ranch there.

Strictly for tourists.
If you are a tourist, and you are looking for a LOUD bar with $10 valet parking on the sunset strip with a standard bar/greasy food menu (steak, fries, etc), beers, prices higher than a normal bar in your city but normal for sunset strip, and you like watching people ride that bull, you will love it.
I got dragged there with friends visiting from texas and hated it so much I left and walked home. But that's me.
The "Sunset Strip" is a range of bars/restaurants/clubs on sunset blvd at the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills border. "City Walk" is the big entertainment/shopping mall destination adjacent to Universal Studios themepark in "universal city" (just north of hollywood proper roughly between North Hollywood and Burbank. ) It has lots of shopping, restuarants and a large movie complex. Crowds are a mix of tourists and locals (it's a big spot for groups of local teens to hang out.) easy for parent drop-offs and pickups.
