Absolutely, but the post of the earring must be able to accept a screw back. If they are costume, you're most likely out of luck; however, if they are gold, platinum, etc., your jeweler can reset any setting with screw backs. I had a pair of diamond studs done. Hope this help.s

Screwbacks can also be very uncomfortable, quite the pain in the butt to get screwed in (because you can't actually see what you're doing) and quite a pain to get UNscrewed. I've heard a lot of people who've sworn off wearing screwbacks because they felt "trapped" in their earrings after they couldn't get them unscrewed, hehe.
I assume by "other kinds" that didn't work for you, you mean the shepherds hook earrings. Have you tried just the regular butterfly back earrings? They snap in and aren't such a pain to put in and take out.

ordinary it three times prevalent for a mutually - confirm you grant it a rather impressive soak each and each and every time and make sure the answer's all offered in there. I even do not recognize what determination you take advantage of, besides the undeniable fact that the stuff I used i necessary to dilute it formerly cleansing it. One received somewhat contaminated and that i replaced into once suggested to position it on neat - stings like a b*tch besides the undeniable fact that it extremely cleans it out completely and looked after my ailment out. Wait it out although, if it does get contaminated formerly than taking it out flow and communicate for your piercer to look in the journey that they are waiting to grant you some information, as an infection doesn't continually mean that there's no danger of the piercing treatment. it will be completely universal for it to be purple and a touch swollen for a mutually, mine did that after I stuck the recent piercing, it replaced into once sore for some days and then calmed flow into opposite.

Most likely, try Ebay. Under jewelry, type in screw back...You should get some results. They are usually antique style ear rings. You might also find them at an antique shop. Good luck!
