I don't think they really understand that by pulling back & not harshly pursuing the terrorists, wherever they may be, will allow the Terrorists to regroup, rearm and carry out even more viscous attacks everywhere, including right here.

The Democrats will used the war as an excuse to win elections and control Congress and hopefully win the Whitehouse.
The Republicans did the same thing after the Koean conflict and got Ike in. The Republicans did the same thing during Vietnam and got Johnson out and Nixon In for two terms. Jimmy Carter made a mess o fthe United States Government and the United States MIlitary and Got booted out. It's nothing new for the opposion party to use war to get into the White HOuse and Congress.
Hilery Has already said she will stay the course in the Middle East and you can bet the farm who ever gets elected will do so.
There is not choice on that matter. We fight them there or here. take your choice.
If we pull out of Iraq now every country on earth will suffer unless;
Another dictator takes over and wipes out the other side.. Sadly it seems Saddam was really the best answer for Iraq, and we should have supported him against Iran. Thi smess would be about over with had we left him alone.
Stupitidy seems ot be the only thing George Bush and Jimmy Carter had in Common. Just two corn fed good ole boys with out a lick of common sense.

Since you haven't listened to the news or read a newspaper for the last three years, the war in Iraq is over and we lost. What is going on is between the insurgents, Sunnis, Shites and Kurds trying to gain control through various types of civil war. The war was over when 1) Saddam was captured, 2) no wmd were found.The troops are still there to 1) protect oil 2) prepare to attack Iran, and 3) protect Israel. It is really that simple but you don't seem to get that, do you . . . trying to take a war started by your President and making the results the fault of Dems. Just like a true Repub, lies (Bush) lies ( Foley ) lies, (Rumsfailed ) lies ( Cheney )and more lies.

2. Nobody that I know of said we did (well besides you).
3. We were TOLD we needed to fight the war because there were WMD's in Iraq. Nobody found them.
4. When there were no WMD's found we were told we nedded to fight the war in Iraq because Saddam needed to be found. He has been.
5. We want Osama Bin Laden caught, and tried. Our resources in Iraq could be used for this.
6. Terrorism is not just in Iraq. We need to fight it EVERYWHERE.
7. Now that Saddam has been removed Iraq can deal with Iraq. We have more important things to do with our military.

When the terrorist becomes more dangerous threat they can gather more support from countries who are at present oppose to it. All politically driven.

As a Republican sympathizer, I honestly dion't believe most Democrats want the terrorists to Win.
They simply believe that waging war is going to cause more acts of terror in the future. That "undecided" people will align themselves with terrorists in response to US attacks.
(Republicans view this tactic as "appeasement" and note its failure when France tried it against the Nazis, among other historical appeasement efforts that also failed.)
The other view is that you win a war by defeating your enemy for once and for all. It worked in WWII, and we have failed to live up that the level of committment needed to Defeat an enemy ever since we defeated Japan.
(Israel has a history of fighting wars to WIN, and thats why they have not been wiped out by their Arab neighbors.)
The Republicans got kicked out of Congress for their Lack of action on items like social security, immigration, the minimum wage, and other issues. The fact that they didn't plan to WIN the war is just the biggest failure of many.

No....no invasion anymore...
what is our purpose of invading Iran? to protect Israel..
**** israel...were' pulling out...pulling out and callin air-strikes
you don't win "war" in iraq....we are not "winning" anything...even if we established control and democrayc...these "terrorists" would just move to iran, syria...or lebanon....I think atually the invasion of iraq caused many to have an "exodus" to lebanon and try to ***** slap israel.
we are not winning anything, just garning more hatred against us due to the impression we are siding with the Israelis and invading due to the Israelis....just causing more terrorist attacks..
which is probably what bush and the jewish lobby want...so the american people get angry again and then invade IRAN...
NO--no more invasion...this is not about pride anymore--this is a pride-rigged game.
what we should do, instead of fighting terrorists is this:
reprimand israel for its 'horrible' human rights violations....admit to our biased support of israel...and apologize to the palestinian people and the rest of the arab world. Then we should give palestinians US passports...and
we should then GET THE HELL OUT of there...
stop supporting Israel with money...they are already strong enough...
and act like any other country right now....like china, which has NO TERRORIST THREATS...
maybe if we followed china's path...DO NO ******* **** IN THE MIDDLE EAST...
there would be no dangerous threat now would there?
we should not even invade WITH another terrorist attrack--I would so start beleiving in conspiracy theories of jewish lobby and american industrial complex starting 911 if we invaded iran because they somehow tied a terrorist attack to hamas terrorists...getting american riled up to support another war....which I don't think will fly this time.
we should NOT INVADE AGAIN...even with a terrorist attack
if the terrorists get out of hand, I think we should jsut resort to cluster bombs and nuclear retaliation....like, if you don't stop this **** in 24 hours...we nuclearize your ***.
