My Mother did and the doctor says it will hurt for 5-6 weeks. Seems a bit extreme to me.

Holy crap, did she like DIVE into the fridge??? Late night snack attack, I'll bet.
My dad accidentally hit my mom's head with the car trunk, and it didn't hurt that long, and she was bleeding and stuff, too.
Hope your mom feels better, and tell her to slow down a bit when venturing into the fridge.

No, but i bump my head on the inside of my car all the time, so I'm in permanent pain, you get used to it.

No... I'm too short for that too happen! However, the cereal box has fallen on me a couple of times... Now, that hurts! In fact, it happened this morning... :-)
