It depends on what you mean by "Safe"
If you are talking about damaging your computer... safe.
If you are talking about content, then it depends. If you are worried that something will offend you or someone in your home, then you should look at the ratings first. They will tell you how other people feel about them.

You need to define safe.

Safe from virus / spyware
Safe from boobies
Safe from people shoving religion on you
Safe from blood and gore or the boogie man
Safe from ad's wasting your time

normally if a video is over rated or as we know pg18 or over, then it would automatically warn you before you view it. otherwise i think you could judge by the name of that video...
