Try a play that can inspire your creativity and imagination. At my school, we are doing "High School Musical". It is about these two students named Gabriella and Troy who join their school's musical. Troy is a basketball star. Gabriella is super-smart and loves science. Two other main characters are Sharpe and his brother. (It doesn't matter of what age you are to do this play. Just have fun!)

This play is great! Trust me, it will kick everyone's socks off. It includes singing and dancing, so tryout everyone.

ok i just wrote a story about a girl. one day in class she sees her friend write something supicious on a piece of paper. then after class she finds the paper on the ground. when she picks it up a boy snatches it from her hand and takes it running down the hall and throws it in the air laughing. she goes through the whole story wondering what was on the piece of paper. a teacher stops in the hall and asked why she is running. not hearing her she realizes the iece of paper is in the trash and she goes to pick it up. the wind blows and sends it down the hall. the same teacher now stops her in the hallway reads the note and hands it to her without saying anything. she walks away with a smile on her face. finally whn she reads the paper and it says "pril fools natalie."

a girl could be the friend
a girl could be natalie
a girl could be the teacher
a boy could be the boy( greg)
the other girl you would have to figure out something.

i dont know?? just an idea. if you do some thinking to can add to it and change it little. it's suppose to be funny because it was and april fools joke. her friend knows that she would be anxious to know what the note said. GOOD LUCK. BREAK A LEG.

I love improv. You can have the audience pick the theme and do a few different scenes arount that theme. Like an ABC version where every other line has to start with the next letter of the alphabet. Or a bend stand sit scene. one perspn always bending, one standing one sitting. A party guest scene. If you need more games please email me pinklady510@yahoo.com.

Or you could all do shakespearian sonets. Or each do a monolouge from different shows centering around one central theme.

well, i don't know if this really counts seeing as I'm not done writing it yet, but it's really a paper for my creative writing class that i want to make into a play, the directions were to tell a story to 3 different people and at the end tell the "real" story. Like how would you tell it to your mom, to your best friend, to the police officer that caught you...etc. This has a really cool message behind it, like how a story changes from person to person. Anyway if your willing to write it yourself, email me at hodagwriter@yahoo.com I can give you plenty of ideas.

You could always try something like the Laramie Project. Or have everyone write their own stuff and find a commone thread.
