How about the tragic effects of global warming on the planet and animals. You can do a diagram showing the species that would die out when the earth reaches certain temperatures. You could highlight the effects the extinction of a species of animal or plant would have on the rest of the environment: eg the bees - how would the distribution of pollen be affected? How would that affect us?

My idea isn't going to be original, but what about the tragedy of a teenager's being killed as a result of speeding.\

Show how the pre-frontal cortex of teenagers is not yet finished and that causes them to think differently than someone more mature, show what fun they seem to be having out and around with the friends, show how they don't take driving seriously, show something that represents the horrible, horrible, loss and forever grieving of their parents.

Find a way to show the types of things they will never have in their lives.
