you and every pregnant woman think the same at this stage,if you're still getting those pregnancy symptoms then try not to worry, once you have your 12wk scan you'll feel more relieved, but at this stage it is more difficult to believe that you are actually pregnant until you see the baby on the scan.personally,i have had 4 children,i didnt feel any different, only more tired, and a few pains at the lower of my stomach, which i worried about, but apparently it was just my body adjusting to the little life inside me.oh,and i felt sick every night,i never suffered morning sickness,it was always night time.good luck and hope all goes well.

There is no "normal" way to feel...some people have almost no symptoms and this point and some are really sick and some are in the middle. Try not to worry...I know, that's easier said than done. I agree with the other answers, it's good to read up. Both books they listed are awesome. Honestly, to ease my mind at this stage I asked to have an ultrasound done. At this point you probably can't hear the heartbeat with a doppler monitor like the one at your OB's office, BUT you can see it with an ultrasound (although the baby looks like a peanut!). Once you see the heartbeat, you'll feel a TON better, and the chances of everything being okay once the heartbeat is there are great. Good luck to you!

Every woman's pregnancy is different. I didn't FEEL pregnant for a long time -- probably till I was about four months and started showing. You'll know everything is fine once you make an appointment with your OBGYN and hear your baby's heartbeat. You'll feel even better when you get your first ultrasound -- although at nine weeks, the baby just looks like a little peanut.

Hi, Congratulations. My little boy is 1 4 weeks and when i first found out I was pregnant I was just like you. I joined websites such as pampers.co.uk and bounty.co.uk which have step by step weekly guides to how you will feel and what progress your baby is making. If you want people to talk to you could join an online community like at discoveryhealth.co.uk where they have a whol forum dedicated to pregnancy, you can talk to other women expecting at the same time as you and it really helps to ask questions and receive support from women in the same position as you. I also found Pregnancy & Birth magazine o be really helpful and informative. There is alot of support and informaiton out there, don't be shy about using it. Good Luck!

Some women are sick as a dog from day one, others glow and are full of energy.

You may start to feel fluttery feelings in your womb, like tiny butterflies - the foetus growing large enough to make itself felt.

If something is wrong, you'll know it. Just pay, relaxed, attention to the changes in your body and go with the flow. Buy one of those baby books, so you can monitor your progress. They can be very informative.

Worrying unnecessary is counter-productive. Many women are unable to have children, for one reason or another. You're one of the lucky ones.

Enjoy it.

Get the book "Your Pregnancy Week By Week". Seriously, it saved me from pulling my hair out during my first pregnancy. The thing about pregnancy is...just about anything goes! Personally, I never get sick, just a little more tired. I don't crave anything strange, and my hair doesn't get thicker or fall out after the baby is born. Oooooh, but the heartburn!!!! You can expect that later on, rest assured. Try to relax and enjoy being a vessel of life!

You sound normal. I went through a stage where I didn't feel pregnant so I panicked.
Just go with it, it's all normal. Everyone feels different, some people don't get any symptoms at all, some get loads.

Every single pregnancy is different. Some of the things people experience are feeling very sexy, being exhausted, nausea, fears, strange dreams, extreme wellbeing, excitement, mood swings, sensitive reactions, tears, forgetfulness, day dreaming...
