Exciting? 1987. Iran Contra, Selling arms to Iran, The USA's chief drug dealer, Noriega, was trhreatening to talk, Gary Hart and the Monkey Business, Jim and Tammy-Faye Bakker, Oral Roberts, Haiti and Voodoo, the USA had just managed to take down that mighty global power of Grenada, Bud Poindexter faked a suicide attempt by taking a few valium, and so many exciting world events.
1978 was a much better year, except for the Iran Hostage Crisis, and the Sandanistas, and several other Central American activities.
