This one is easy. I am assuming that you are a man. Do you ever check out "cute" girls in magazines, movies or even at the mall? Do you and your friends ever say, "Oh, yeah, man! She's cute....you know what that means?!!!" I doubt it. And that's okay. You're a guy. Let me give you a hint. Smart girls want to be called sexy and sexy girls want to be called smart. Stick with that and most of the time you won't lose. Hope I helped.

Hmm I actually would like being called cute instead :)
I guess most girls try to get away from that whole little kid thing, so they feel more mature if they are called sexy...
Cute might also make a girl feel like you see her more as a friend instead of a potential girlfriend...

I think being called cute is an awesome compliment, my boyfriend always says to me, "You're so cute!" and I love it. But maybe to some insecure girls, they feel cute is just used for little-ish girls and not real woman. Or, they could think that cute isn't used to describe sexual or romantic feelings, just friendship, and sexy does. But I know many girls who would love to be called cute by a guy!

"Cute" just sounds condescending. "Aww, what a cute little girl". When it comes to a girl you like, it's better to use phrases such as beautiful, sexy, amazing, hot, etc. In fact, out of all of them, I'd guess that a woman would most likely want to hear you call her beautiful. We take that to mean that you mean more than just a nice ass and big coconuts and you may get a little extra lovin' out of it! :)

in my opinion, 90% of the girl who like to be called sexy are probably the mean type. and 75% of the girl who likes to be called cute are the nice type.

Cause to some girls "cute" sounds like something you'd call a baby. They want to be found mature and feminine.

Some girls think if you call them cute that they must not be hott. i persomnly would not mind being cutee of sexy. soo that is how only some girls are. :)

but cute is just cute
whereas sexy, means, sexually attractive, so if a guy called a girl sexy, it practically means he wants to shag her! so it means a little more!!

Its beaucse cute sounds kiddish, but sexy is a whole diffrent perspective. its sounds like she looks hot and mature, not pigtails and pink dress.
