it seems that travel agencies are not allowed to book any corinthia/oasis hotels just like cuba travel arrangements. I just wanted to know why boycott the hotel chain. I can't find anything in the internet that will tell me why the law and why all properties.

there is a federal law and no US travel company or citizen is allow to stay there. Travel agencies get fine and investigated by the FBI if they offer or book these properties.

I don't think it's a law...My guess is that it's a contract issue between the travel agents and the hotel chains. Many travel agencies have contracts with "preferred" hotels and/or chains, and can't book outside of these. It's also possible that these chains don't take part in the international system that the travel agents use, so they're not visible to the agents.

It looks as if you can book these hotels from their websites.
