If you have a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine then you might have TBI( Throttle body injectors) on the top of the carb under the air cleaner. There is a t-shaped connector on top of the tbi injector. If you can take some contact cleaner to the underside of this t-shaped two wire adapter then it might help with the contacts being spaced from the tbi. Hence the reason it will not spray. You might need to check with a local wreck yard or parts store for another tbi to replace the old one .Completing both of these steps might help.be sure to disconnect the battery first, fuel and spark do not mix. Best of luck

It could be clogged or not working. Get it put on an analyzer, call a garage and ask if they have the machine to tell you what is wrong with it. Depends on the year what they charge. They will be abole to tell you if it's repairable or if youneed something else that is maybe causing the problem. It costs but fixing a couple of things can cost too. Good luck. They sell fuekl injector cleaner but I think the car must be running to use it. Sounds like yours isn't. good luck. Great cars, we had one back in the late 70's early 80's.

Sounds like clogged dirty injectors, try a fuel delivery system cleaning. The one that you get a garage. It costs about $100.00 and they do it with pressure and distilled gas. In Canada the treatment is called Terra clean.

Did you run out of gas, then find it doesn't work?
If so, you need to locate the purge valve( it looks like an A/C filler valve, located just before the line enters the injector - it has a screw on cap) and push the center stem in untill gas squirts out.
This runs dry if you run out of gas.

Sounds like the fuel pump, but it could also be electrical. Check the fuses controlling the fuel pump first.
