More than likely they'll say that your job requirements are not being met to their satisfaction. If you get sick a lot, I can guarantee they will think about replacing you with someone they can count on. You don't seem reliable to them if you don't show up at work. Think about it... would you rather have an employee you can count on or someone who is probably sick?

Yes, you can.
If you qualify for FMLA, you are guaranteed up to 12 weeks off in a year (not paid, and you can be required to use up any paid time you have available first, and that time counts toward the 12 weeks.) For more info on FMLA go to http://www.dol.gov/compliance/guide/fmla.htm

Yes, you can get terminated for violating an attendance problem. If you qualify for FMLA, then you cannot be terminated for leaving due to your sickness.
