I know thats how you can tell the difference between a mens and womens shirt but what side are the buttons on a mens shirt?

The Buttons are supposed to be on the right side.

The buttons are on the right, the button holes on the left. No clue as to why.

buttons on right side of the mans body, (not the right side when looking at the body !!)

when shirt is on you, the buttons are on the left. button holes are on the right
