the combustion of cannabis produced a chemical known as TNC, this chemical has a relaxitive effect on the brain, causing the relaxed feeling users reicieve, when the amount in the brain reaches a certain level (that is detirmed by the aprticuar user - as with alchol) the brain sort of gives up hope, and shuts off itself, this feelinging leaves people dazed out - or stoned.
The feeling is addictive so people get addicted to the feeling, rather than the product, in terms of what the chemical does to your brain, prolngued use can cause numerous brain disorders, skitsofrnia (which isnt spelt like that) and parcinsons. in the body it can cause cancers by making cells mutate in an incorrect fasion.
the hungry or 'munchies' feeling is due to the liver needing more energy to deal with the TNC, thus requiring more food and making the user hungry.

I worked with a guy who "did" canabis, at work, first thing in the morning (pre puff) he was unbearable, rude and very VERY aggressive, after he went to the "toilet" he would be one of the nicest politest person you could choose to meet, and very good company. I still wonder after many years which was the "real him" I DON'T THINK EVEN HE KNEW. guess that what drugs do.

quite a lot, but they can't prove it yet becuase the interaction between the 300 or so chemicals are synergistic and incredibly complex.
It has been shown that 8% of all schizophrenics are so becuase they smoked weed.
Over here in the UK there is currently a national TV advert running called 'Talk To Frank' where they show teenagres going into a shop to buy a new brain becuase they wrecked their old one smoking marijuana.

makes you get stoned.... you feel happy, relaxed, talk utter b*llocks and often feel hungry too!
the (longer lasting) side affects include; feeling kinda thick, short term memory loss, lack of concept of time, loss of motivation/ambition.
medical side affects too....can't remember what they are or be- bothered to look them up!
