That is so hard for me! My emotions sort of melt into one another, and I can't decipher which is which because there really are no written rules... Ha ha... Also, it is hard for me to put words to my emotions because in my head, it just feels right, but when I say it out loud, I get confused, get tongue tied, and stuff... :-)

I tend to keep my emotions in and then have breakdowns

Ok, so atleast you've figured out that ever since [your ex broke up with you] you're apparently unable to love. You need to figure out what is was about him that you want or are you chasing someone who doesnt want you anymore? People often chase what they can't have. It is something humans have done since birth and sometimes carry with them as they arise into adulthood. Have you ever seen a child play with a toy then no longer want the toy until another child starts playing with it? As the saying goes "you don't know what you've got till it's gone". In your case you didn't realise that not speaking about your problems and lack of communication would deteriorate your relationship until you had nothing. You expected things to carry on as usual and thought everything would be fine. Since you closed up to your ex boyfriend whom at the time you supposedly trusted you may have sub consciously shut off everyone that you trusted in which you now show no love. You're wishing that you had solved your problems with your ex boyfriend in hope that maybe now things would be different. You keep asking yourself what if we had talked? What if we had solved whatever was wrong? Would things be different if i had said something? You're over thinking past situations even though it's too late. While you were thinking he was distant maybe it was you who couldnt trust him? you may have trust issues rather than 'love issues'. Anyway hope that helped.

Absolutely!!! I get so embarrassed about what someone will think of me or say about me, but also, I tend to get confused and not know exactly which emotion is which...especially with women (I often mistake a crush on someone I've known only a short period of time for love)

: )

Yeah, I know what you mean. I know how I feel, but when I try to explain it, it doesn't make sense to other people and I just get confused about whether or not I actually have a problem because I still feel like I do, but it doesn't sound like I have one.

I'm kind of like that now. There is only one person who I can just express all my feelings to and that's my boyfrined. He understands me even though sometimes I tend to be confusing. You aren't alone.

I don't have any emotions, and every time that I try to figure out why that is, I start crying.

I rarely show my emotions to anybody. It is quite difficult for me to express how I feel and not feel vulnerable.

Actually that is something I am pretty good at............I never hold in my emotions because it will just make me explode at the wrong time.
