As a rough guide double the amount and add three "0"s. Using this method gives around $40,000. This is useful if you are looking through a lot of job advertisements.

800 x 50 = 40,000

(I know there's 52 weeks in a year, but figure in 2 weeks vacation, as most places will give you)

all of that's before taxes and other deductions are taken out

I work because I have a great house, three cars, and take two to three vacations a year. I can't get that on welfare. You can feel free to live that way if you want.

that would be around 40,000. with a two week vacation. You will then need to subtract for taxes say 30% bracket you will make about 28000 bring home...hope that helps!!
