Oh no! I'm not implying I'm too old,I've loved them since Kerplunk.
I went to a concert of theirs last year and I was the oldest one there.
I just wanted to see if there were any fans left I could relate to. I live in Ireland and don't have anyone to share my obsession with!!! I'm so happy so many people like them as much as me!!

Okay.......my hubbie is 40 and an ole punk. He has liked green day for as long as I remember. He has seen them in concert 3 times...... at manchester in the late 90's, again there last year and also Milton keynes! he dragged me along to one gig and they were fantastic! Our 17 year old daughter went to Milton Keynes though! Its great that both generations can enjoy good music!

No, no you're not. I've had a thing for Green Day and yes, especially Billie Joe ever since they first came out. There's nothin' wrong with it! I would wreck that man!

I love them too! But I'm only 24. Billie Joe is great, really talented, and absolutely gorgeous, I certainly wouldn't kick him out of bed. I love a man who can get away with wearing eyeliner.

Basket Case got me into them as the video was stunning and so compelling - although I do love Blink 182 as well! American Idiot and When September Comes are masterpieces - people dismiss them as grunge/punk but they are so much more - Hey people wake up! Coldplay? Razorlight? they are writing nursery rhymes compared to Green Day - take time to listen to the genius!

Well, I can't answer that because I'm not 27, but are you implying that you are too "old" to like Green Day? Why would you think that? I'm a lot older than you and I like them. Musical preferences have no age limits.

I doubt it. I'm 23, my husband is 24 and we love them.
