Limewire is definately the best one out there. But there are others like BearShare, which I have listed as links below.
If you want CHEAP music, you can go to www.allofmp3.com or www.mp3sugar.com which are music sites in Russia. You can buy an album for usually under $3.00 and choose your bps (bits per second - aka quality and size). Of those, allofmp3.com has the best selection.
Watch out for files smaller than 2,000kb - there are a lot of nasty viruses.

yep. limewire. go to their official site and get the basic service. absolutely free. if you are asked for any money, even a dollar, then you are not on the official site.

hey i think i now how to download free music!!!! do you have limewire?that is where my brother goes and gets free music.you can get song toally free.just download limewire and you can get free music. hope it works. oh i don't now how to download it ok.sorry.

freeringers.net is not completly free but for 7.99 you get unlimited ringtone for a year
