Do you think we tend to confuse our thinking with our feelings
from the impression wee see, from what catches our attention or impression of things,?

Just the reverse. We confuse what we feel by what we think. We do not need conscious thought to feel. It's a no-brainer (get it?).

The only problem is if you claim your thinking is one way, but it is not.

If you claim to be objective and fair in your thinking, then of course you need to hold back and not rush to conclusions.

But on the other hand if you acknowledge that you are subjective in your thinking, then your thoughts are expressions of what you feel.

I think we hide our feelings behind thoughts to keep them under control

Some people do and then there are others who think with a great deal of clarity.
