I feel Israel is trying to protect itself similar to our nation. But others may not see that.

If Israel does attack, it will probably go like the opening weeks of the Iraq war.
The difference is that Israel probably won't occupy Iran and try to rebuild it. That's where the vast majority of American casualties came from.

Israel can't attack Iran with ground troops, only planes and missiles. Iran can strike back with conventional missiles, maybe with cluster bomb warheads. So it would be like Israel's part in Gulf War I, when Saddam fired scud missiles at Israel. Israel will get some form of conventional bombardment and get to test their anti-missiles. Other countries will object to Israel flying over them, Saudi Arabia used Israel's strike on Iraq to get AWACS planes, they may be able to block an Israeli raid, especially if Israel tries more than one.

Somebody needs to attack Iran. It would be better if we did it as we have more resources suitable for the job. I'm not sure if Israel has the capability to do it with conventional weapons. We do.

I do not think that Israel need to attack Iran. Iran's people are so fed up with their government that things are better handled internally with a third party's cooperation in providing ammunition.

I can't see that as an option for Israel.
arabs tend to bond and Israel does not want 5 or 6 nations
thumping on them..
Israel is totally dependent on incoming trade....
mainly USA...and some from europe..
so Israel just can't go silly nilly..and lose any of that support.

If it wasn't for different religious beleifs based on fables and fantasy nobody woulld have a reason to argue, but I think we all like a good argument. Let us everyone face it. Aggression is part of humann nature whether it passive or physical Do not use peoples lives as ponds, embracee intellegence and the human spirit and move forward without the sword and the gun.

Israel has enough to do beating up on the poor Palestinians, and the Palestinians have enough to do retaliating on the poor Israeli's. Just wish they would STOP!
