Of the Start Wars movies.... Which 3 were better.. Old ( 4,5,6,) orrr New (1,2,3,)?

I like the original three much better. I enjoyed all 6 movies in this order:

Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
A New Hope
Revenge of the Sith
Attack of the Clones
Phantom Menace

The older ones were WAY better.

The original Star Wars movie was a revolutionary film when it came out. It was big, exciting, something new and important. It made a radical change in what people could expect from a movie and it permanently affected filmmaking. Episode 5 was strong but darker and 6 was better than 5 even though it was a little silly at times.

Episode 1 was truly bad. How Lucas could accept such bad acting is beyond me. 2 was a little less bad and 3 wasn't that great.

It's gotta be 4,5, and 6. The new ones are almost painful to watch. I think it was casting problems if you know what I mean, but I won't say who or why.

Ok I will- Jake and Hayden both sucked as actors, were hired solely because they looked the part, and contributed nothing but cheese to the central, vital role of the whole trilogy. Ewan and Natalie are both really good actors, but Natalie looked like she was coasting and Ewan didn't have anything to work with.

Yoda turned in the best acting performance and he's imaginary! I can only think of maybe two or three moments that felt authentic in all of the new movies.

but now that i think about it, after they replaced Jeremy Bullochs voice (WTF???)
i don't think i like to watch them anymore at all.
i'll just remember them in my head.

yea, i'm going to drop ANOTHER $60 on the RERERRE-release of the new dvds.
maybe if the money spent on the new dvds went STRAIGHT to the cost or production on episodes 6,7,8 i'd buy another copy of the trilogy.
and come on, with CGI and computer crap Lucas could sit on a beach or in a living room filled with money and finish the entire ending trilogy.

The older movies were the best. Not only were the characters more believable, the writing wasn't so strained.

I think the graphics in the newer star wars was way better, plus A. Skywalker was GORGEOUS...BUT, I would have to go with the original. ;)
