All violent crimes are based on hatred. It is unfair that a white man will get a worse punishment for attacking a black man, when no one can prove that it was racially based. It puts the judge in a subjective role instead of judging based on the objective analysis of the laws

Every party plans on abolishing hate crimes, its just different parties do it in different ways. Democrats view more is if you give more to the government, the more the government will give back. Thats why democrats are infamous of raising taxes for everybody. Republicans or conservative and implies what the name is, they conserve. Thats why Democrats are more liberal, they want to give people every right that doesn't violate the constitution, like gay marriage.

I come from Madison, WI, one of the most liberal cities in the country and there arn't that many hate crimes around just to tell you.

It will be impossible to completely wipe out hate crimes, so don't get yourhopes up

I hope this helped!!

they ought to be abolished. attack is already unlawful. Why ought to somebody be punished extra for assaulting a center Easterner or a Black or a Jewish person extra desirable than they could in the event that they assaulted me? Destruction of inner maximum sources is already unlawful. Why is somebody punished extra for portray a swastika than they're for portray a butterfly on my abode? If the graffiti is construed as a risk, there are regulations masking that, besides. we've regulations on the books that cover all of the "hate" crimes already. we ought to enforce those and not in elementary terms make up new ones to make some particular activity team sense extra effective by way of fact we are "looking out" for them. Hate crime regulations surely are much less effective than the common regulations by way of fact the prosecution now has to coach what the offender's concepts have been on the time of fee. enable the equipment artwork like it replaced into designed and supply up the "theory police" equipment of justice.

I doubt very much that hate crimes & affirmative action is high on the list of priorities. But more likely it would be republicans who would abolish affirmative action not the democrats. affirmative action is considered to be a liberal action and it became the law of the land under a democratic president - Lyndon Johnson.

It sure would be nice if they did. I'm afraid it's not going to happen though. Both parties have the same New World Order agenda. They just have slightly different ways of accomplishing their objectives. When you get right down to it, they're all in it together.

Hmmm.... A Democratic "To do list" consists of, 1) getting more abortion clinics opened, 2) recognize "Homosexual" day, as a legal holiday..........3) Increase welfare Benefits...... Just to name a few, so put your request at the bottom, maybe theyll get to it, once all the important stuff is done.

I doubt it, since they mainly supported the issues...

while I may not exactly agree with the ideas... they are there to try and combat racism, perhaps being racist themselves...

I don't really know a better idea to combat the inherent racism/sexism in our society...

it's one of those, that's not a great idea, but I can't think of anything better situations...

Nope! They invented these policies, and you know as well as I what the democrat strategy always is when their policies don't work -- throw more money at them.
