Ugh, I'm so frustrated. I think I'm the worst procrastinator in the world. I just took up homeschooling, finishing the last few classes I need online. It's been 3 weeks into the program and I've only a finished about a week's worth.

I've also wanted to get into better shape using my treadmill, since I have extra free time now. I havent even toutched that thing.

I'm so frustrated and disappointed in myself. Everyday its the same thing. I want to be productive...but each day always ends the same. I got nothing done.

Anyone got any advice on how to deal with this, or strategies for gettinng rid of the lazyass procrastinator within yourself?

Thanks :)

Just make yourself get off your @ss and do the things that need to get done... I AM THE SAME WAY.

Once you get in a rut...the longer it takes for you to get up and go, the longer you will stay in it and get used to it.

Are you a procrastinator or are you trying to do too much at a time? I know I can`t get anything done if my house isn`t tidy. I can`t go to sleep if the dishes aren`t done.
I guess it becomes a question of planning and scheduling, of course always leave extra time for those unexpected moments. So, plan when you will not be disturbed to work out...do this for 1 week and you will see your body will need it and you won`t pass it up anymore. About studying, get it done no matter what. Just tell yourself that you need to pass for your future!!! Time goes by too fast to waste it....

I get like that lots to. I think cause we are creative type of people and perhaps a bit of perfectionism as well getting in our way.
With that we tend to get disorganized really easy.
and get side tracked doing other things.. nothing really, but we put off the things we really want to do.

I found that this helped for a 'bit' I say a bit, cause when you are a projectionist, this can really get you down after a bit.. you will see what I mean if you do plan to join.
But if you do want to try to see if it makes a difference by being organized. Join http://www.flylady.net

I did. It really made a difference for me. once I made out my own organization sheets, i left that group, cause i found that she's a perfectionist to an extreme and it can get you down after a bit.

This is caused by emotional stress. You just need to take a break. Take some free time and do your own thing for a day. May work really hard on one day so you have enough time to take of the next day.

Try Julie Morganstern's book Time Management from the Inside Out; I found it to be really helpful. She talks about working with your own style to do the things that you want to get done.

Sometimes what is thought to be procrastination or laziness is actually depression.

You might want to talk to your doctor.
