Are you sure guys I know Hugh Cornwell left but I didn't know he'd rejoined
I saw the Stranglers last ever gig in the original line up in the Brixton Academy in 1989 or 1990 not sure. Fantastic night and they played 2 and a half hours. The place was mobbed
Hugh left after that. Still have T-shirt must check date
I saw them again in The Mean Fiddler on Camden Street in Dublin in about 1995 and they had a new young singer with them and he made a very good job of their back catalogue and it was a good gig, enjoyed it. Don't remember his name, blonde hair though
So now I'm confused and don't know did they ditch the new singer and reinstate Hugh or what?

Hugh Corwall, a great band if ever there was one. Haven't see him solo but know he's doing some gigs. I gather the Stranglers are still touring too with of course a new lead singer.
Still think their raw earlier stuff is best. Best application of bass ever!!
