No you are not mental.
That is you brain rebooting and sometimes you really have more memory of things it dreams up.

A few years ago for about 3 months when i was falling asleep, i would get into like a half sleep state where i could open my eyes and see my blanket pulled up and my hands gripping it, but i couldn't move or make any noise. I'd still be able to like think freely though , like I was totally aware of myself, but if i started thinking scary things I'd start like dreaming them real, or at least i was scared they'd be real, and I would tell myself if i could just make noise or pull the blanket down off my face I'd be properly awake again. Eventally I'd be ableto scream out and wake up , but it was really scary and it happened alot. I was pretty stressed out at the time and I'd say that was the cause. It hasn't happened since...

I'm the same. I know that I am falling asleep because I enter a different reality.

I know whats going on and I know that it is not my real life.

I can also alter my dreams because I sometimes know that I am dreaming.

If I dream of needing the toilet I wake up and go to the toilet and can then go back to sleep and rejoin my dream where I left off.

If you're Mental i'm positively insanely crazy. LOL

Dreams are freaky and unexplainable.

When I was little, I dreamt I was going to the toilet, but it was in the lounge, and there was no bottom in it. I dismissed it as a bizarre dream.

A few months ago though, my dad was getting very old and had a co mode in the lounge, in his ageing puddledness, he sat down on it while the pot was being emptied. Carpet shampoo please.

I know I had this dream ages ago, so how is this possible.

So yes I 'remember' loads of stuff, it doesn't usually make sense.

Yes I do remember some of my dreams, in fact, I dreamt about something when I was only 4 or five yrs of age, and 'til now I still remember every detail of it and still trying to figure out if it means something, perhaps it does signifies something. It's funny coz most of my dreams appear to be like real, some of it even has a continuation, believe it or not. Your experience is just normal.

You are not mental, or could be you are, but not in this instance.

I once dreamt I woke up and was getting ready to go to work and running late as usual. It felt so real, but then I really did wake up and it felt like a de ja vu.

It was really weird.

I remember Most of my dreams, sometimes so clearly you'd think i'd just watched it on TV. I also have the weirdest dreams, but i dont know what causes them either.

I remember everything in my dreams, and I have journals with them written down in them... years later when I read the journal, I barely remember the dreams or any details, it's like it never happened. It's weird.
