I am reading a book called "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer. I love to read, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about books that are similar, or just books you enjoyed a lot. I judge a book by its cover, something I shouldn't do, but if someone recommended a book, I would read it. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

By the way, it can have adult content. I don't really care.

I love Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's one of my favorite books. You should definitely read New Moon, the sequel to Twilight. It's been out a few months now. For another vampire book (YA audience) try Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz. Blue Bloods is the first in a series, so if you like it you can look forward to more of it coming. Peeps by Scott Westerfeld (also the start of a series) is another good YA vamp. novel. Its sequel Last Days is out, but I haven't had the opportunity to read it yet. Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause is supposed to be good. While I've read other books by that author, I haven't read The Silver Kiss.

If you like YA romance you should make a point of reading anything and everything by Sarah Dessen. My personal favorite is The Truth About Forever. Her newest book is Just Listen. Other books (all good) include Someone Like You, Keeping the Moon, This Lullaby, That Summer, Dreamland.

I also LOVE Joan Bauer. Her books are so good. My favorite is Hope Was Here. But I had the opportunity to read all of her books this summer, and I loved them all.

I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have To Kill You by Ally Carter is a very fun book. It's set in a "spy school" for teenagers. The heroine is fluent in fourteen languages, but loses the ability to speak coherently when face to face with a cute boy. Her cluelessness with the opposite sex makes for quite a funny and exciting read!

What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones

Hit the Road by Caroline B. Cooney

Uglies trilogy by Scott Westerfeld (Uglies, Pretties, Specials)

Let me tell you about love of books. I have read well over 565,000 books in my lifetime. I enjoy fiction because it is researched better than non-fiction. And a lot of non-fiction is biased. I would rather read something that moves along and keeps my attention, than listen to an author rant about something he/she knows very little about. Now that that is out of the way. Try Matthew Reilly or James Rollins for thrillers. Dennis McKiernan and Trudi Canavan for fantasy. J.A.Jance and Stuart Woods for mystery. Jack duBrul, Ted Bell for adventure. If you need more, I can list authors all day long. So you can email me for more. Good Fortune and happy reading!

In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner is good, way better than the movie.

I would also recommend any book by Greg Iles (iles), J.D. Robb, James Patterson (excellent author), and Harlon Coben (my fave!).

Barefoot in the Grass by Judith Arnold and the Harry Potter septology are also great reads.
