I need to know what are the best brands you can really recommend your friends. Makeup you are willing to buy or use.

I have alot.
Clinique - I love everything in general. Their foundation is the only ones that can get along with my skin.
MAC - their eyeshadows are the best. They have alot of pigment and there is a variety of colors to choose from
Revlon - Classy, yet affordable.
CoverGirl - This makeup is more for the "preppy" look. It's also quite cheap. I have alot of their eyeshadows.
Maybelline - Same as above. They make my favorite lipstick: Moisture Extreme in Nude Blush

CoverGirl,Loreal Paris,Great Lash,Bare Minerals!
CoverGirl: Great glosses that are my color.
Loreal Paris: Great gloss, especially Colorjuice.
Great Lash: Mascara, and clear mascara that won't smear when it runs, but still shapes your eyelashes,and waterproof mascara, whose only downside is that it's pretty hard to get it off.
Bare Minerals: Are really good for your skin, which is nice, because even though it is an eyeshadow some lipglosses have irritants whose sole purpose is to irritate your lips to make them "plumper".
Not sure if this helps, but Ulta Cosmetics has a makeup kit that comes with MANY choices for eyeshadow and lipgloss, and also includes blush,mascara and concealer to hide blemishes and redness.

Flirt! Cosmetics, American Beauty and Good Skin. All their products can be found at Kohls,or kohls.com. I love all their ranges in color for every skin tone and cool tones and warm tones and the fact that you can try everything on without a salesperson hovering over you and not feel obligated to buy anything. I love their makeup, try it out!

I go for the following:
1. Bobbi Brown for face makeup (foundation, concealers, eyeliners)
2. MAC (eyeshadows, eye base, mascaras, nail polish, brushes, lipsticks)
3. Lancome (eyeshadows)

Most of my makeup is Maybelline. Not that I plan it that way. Just when I go to the store, that is always the makeup I leave with. They aren't too expensive and still quality.

bare minerals from bare escentuals is absolutely the best, others like neutrogena and maybelline have minerals out but their not as pure as bare minerals, i think its the only makeup line to go with if you want what looks and is best for your skin....
then theres alexis vogel cosmetics...that makeup line is flawless but no better for your skin than others, its a really nice natural, or glamourous look, a lot of celebritys use it, but its not something you can sleep in like bare minerals...but again it looks awsome no matter who you are, its like a make over lol.....

MAC- Love the variety of eyeshadow colors
Chanel- Love the shine of their lipglosses and the powder is great coverage for a night out
Bare Minerals- Everyday light weight coverage
